BASIC Life was founded and is based in Felixstowe, Suffolk. U.K.
We have been extremely active in our home town and have probably donated around £100,000 locally to provide:-
Funding in response to requests from existing organisations.
Funding to enable new groups to become established.
Donations to local groups in need.
Emergency assistance, both financial and practical, to many local residents.
Some of the groups and organisations assisted locally include:-
The Felixstowe Hospital, Orwell High School, Deben High School, Haven Health Surgery, F.A.C.T.S., Level 2, Felixstowe Coastal Patrol, Deben Guides, Felixstowe Sports Council, Coastal Homeless Action Group, Ashley Homes, Martha & Mary Crisis Line, Ocean People Development, The Felixstowe Christian Youth Worker Trust, Trinity Family Centre, St.Felix Home for the Blind, Felixstowe Seafarers, The Alzhiemers Society, Colneis Guides, C.Y.M. Felixstowe Ferry Youth Sailing.
