Our method has been described as 'best practice' by East Suffolk Council

The BASIC Life Charity have been in the front line in the battle to support local residents in need from the start of the pandemic.

We transformed our charity shops in Walton and Felixstowe into Emergency Resource Centres on Saturday 21st March 2020 and have since been offering assistance to residents in Felixstowe, Walton, the Trimley villages and Kirton.

DURING THE CRISIS WE FED LITERALLY 1000'S OF PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN FELIXSTOWE, WALTON, TRIMLEY OR KIRTON AREAS WITH FREE FOOD AND DELIVERY.

If you need food please visit one of our pop-up shops which are held every week across town. We also have traditional referral-based food bank supplies at each of our shops.

Please remember that this crisis WILL pass. We are all in it together and we are all working to bring an end to the problems we face.

If you are lonely or anxious we can guide you towards people who can help. We will be here for the duration and will continue to offer whatever support we can, in partnership with the amazing volunteer groups in our community.
